Once you receive the "Account Opening" link to your personal email address, you’ll be guided through a few simple steps to complete your account setup. Here’s what to expect:
Set Your Password
You'll be able to set the password for your account and enable two-factor authentication for security.
Provide Your Personal Information
Your advisor might have pre-filled your personal account information. If not, you'll be able to input personal information and goals here.
Review and Sign Agreements
You’ll be asked to electronically sign any required documents to officially open your account.
Approve Transfer Instructions (if applicable)
If you’re transferring assets from another institution, your advisor is able to input your information for a pre-filled transfer. In this step, you will be able to approve these transfers.
Link Your Bank Account
Finally, you’ll be able to link a bank account for deposits, withdrawals, or funding your account. This will be done through Plaid to verify your identity.
